Cedar Bluff - August 11, 2023

This trip began with a phone call from my mother about a week prior: “Jason, let’s go to the lake and get some Milky Way shots!”

If Mom says “Let’s go shoot the Milky Way,” you do just that. So, it was done. The Persied Meteor Shower was to peak the next night, but the weather didn’t look promising. Although we missed the peak of the shower, we were able to snap a couple of photos of meteors! I was lucky enough to capture one while I was photographing the Milky Way down a dock on the lake!
